Chloe Cheatle is an emerging sculptor whose work centers domestic space, memory, and care. Currently studying at the Rochester Institute of Technology, she works with both soft materials like linens, thread, and paper as well as acrylic and metal to create forms that feel both delicate and enduring.
Her practice is shaped by observation of everyday routines and the influence of the women in her family. Through repetition and accumulation, she explores how small, often overlooked acts carry meaning over time. Alongside her studio practice, Chloe works with school children and the public as a teaching artist, creating opportunities to explore craft and hands-on making. She is a recipient of several academic awards, and her work is included in a permanent installation in the City of Rochester.
